Train the Trainer 

We offer different  Train the Trainer courses including the 6.09.  In 2026 our focus is on our new Train the Trainer course on Prevention of Violence and Harassment which is a new module of the STCW PSSR. 

Leaders of Maritime Education
 

This is an extensive course for everyone who works at any management level of a maritime educational institution, including training units and in-house training .

Train the Trainer - Get Ready to Teach the new PSSR Module on Prevention of Violence and Harassement

This course will be our main focus in 2026.

Learn how to teach the new PSSR in the STCW Code Table A-VI/1-4

Prevention of Violence and Harassment.

 

The new module of the STCW Code, Table A-VI/1-4, focuses on violence and harassment at sea. As this is a new soft skill subject, BluePoint Scholastic has developed a Train the Trainer course for all educators and trainers in the maritime field. This course will prepare you to teach this new element as outlined in STCW. 

 

This 2-day course will focus on the definitions set out in the STCW. As this part of the STCW is all about a mindset change, we will give you tools you can use when you are teaching this part of the PSSR, and have a discussion with your students about what causes violence and harassment at sea.
